This is a working draft, not a finished legal document. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be treated as binding or complete. Before Moniker launches to real users, this page must be reviewed and finalised by qualified legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction(s).

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Moniker (the "Service"), operated by RevvBox Digital Pty Ltd ("RevvBox Digital," "we," "us," or "our") in connection with the domain getmoniker.id. By creating a Moniker profile or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Moniker

Moniker is built for business-to-business (B2B) use. To create a profile, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Register using a valid business email address for verification purposes.
  • Use the Service for legitimate professional vendor evaluation and outreach management, not personal or consumer purposes.

3. Your Moniker identity

When you sign up, Moniker issues you an alias identity, an alias email address, for use when engaging with vendors. Additional channels may be offered in future, and these Terms will be updated before any such channel is made available. This alias identity:

  • Remains associated with your account for as long as your account is active, or until you reset it.
  • Must not be used to impersonate another real person or entity, or to misrepresent your identity in a way intended to defraud a vendor or third party.
  • Must not be used for spam, harassment, phishing, or any unlawful activity.

You may reset your alias identity at any time through your account settings. Resetting issues a new alias and revokes the old one, except for vendor relationships you've explicitly marked as trusted, which carry forward.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Moniker to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' access to it.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying classification or routing systems.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to your Moniker identity to a third party as a commercial service.

5. Vendor interactions

Moniker facilitates communication between you and vendors you choose to engage with, but is not a party to any agreement, purchase, or transaction between you and a vendor. Moniker is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or conduct of any vendor you interact with through the Service.

6. Fees and billing

Moniker offers a free tier and one or more paid tiers, described on our Pricing page. Pricing shown prior to general launch is directional and subject to change; you will be notified of final pricing before being charged. Paid subscriptions, once launched, will renew automatically unless cancelled, in accordance with terms to be specified at that time.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Moniker may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour toward vendors or other users, or pose a security risk to the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Moniker does not guarantee that alias identities will be undetectable as such by all vendors or systems, or that all unwanted outreach will be filtered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moniker and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost business opportunities, missed communications, or vendor disputes.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. [Placeholder: specific state/territory (e.g. New South Wales) and dispute-resolution mechanism to be confirmed with legal counsel prior to launch.]

12. Contact
